Our comfortable, safe and welcoming homes provide the optimal living quarters for those seniors who might find living alone a bit challenging, but still wish to retain a degree of independence in their lives.

 

We set a high standard for food quality, safety, comfort and healthy living at all four residences in the Shoreline/Richmond Beach and North Seattle area. Compare these qualities to what's available elsewhere, and you'll see why our residents love our homes :

  1. English speaking: Each of our staff must speak fluent English.
  2. Activities: Regular activities, including board games, exercising, and as much interaction as a resident desires.
  3. Nurse on staff. When needed, a nurse is available to check blood pressure, administer medications, and deal with unexpected emergencies.
  4. Pet therapy: When available.
  5. Music therapy: Visiting musicians, live music, visits to local events such as carol singing, choir performance, and seasonal events.
  6. Massage therapy: Our massage therapist provides regular massages for our residents.

Foundational elements for all of our homes

  • Quiet setting: Before we ever selected any of our residences, we first checked out the neighborhood. Quietness, safety and accessibility is always a requirement.
  • Two people on staff: There are always at least two professional and dedicated staff in each residence, and one staff member during the night. Whether it's a snack at 2 PM or a medical emergency, you can rest assured every resident is taken care of 24/7.
  • Home cooking: We cook everything from scratch. We even grow some of our own vegetables on location. In fact, residents can, if they wish, get involved in the gardening!
  • Regular doctor visits: Our care is based on preventative maintenance, rather than waiting for an emergency. Every residence receives regular doctor visits, providing checkups and prescription renewals.
  • Background checks: Before each employee is hired, we do a full background check so we know we get the most trusted staff looking after every resident.
  • Modern, updated appliances: All outlets, plugs, wiring, equipment, fixtures and fittings are kept in top condition. If it can't be perfectly repaired, it is replaced.
  • WiFi, Zoom, Microsoft Meet, other: Everyone has access to fast WiFi and can schedule a Zoom, Meet or other app to call to anywhere. Just give us a little notice and we'll get your loved one connected. Each resident can of course use their own phone, tablet, laptop or other communication equipment, but we also provide computers with Internet access to everyone.
  • Visitations: We welcome and encourage maintaining family connections, so we love to see family and friends visiting during the day.
